In der English Historical Review (September 2006, Vol CXXI, Nr.493, S.1222, Zugriff nur bei Subskription) befindet sich folgende Annotation der von Michael Hochedlinger und mir herausgegebenen Quellenedition:
MÖStA , Sonderband viii, prints reports by the Austrian Hofkriegsrat on most of the (non-Hungarian) core provinces of the Monarchy compiled at the time of the military census in 1770 - 1 . These are fascinating documents, mainly unpublished, though the two fullest, for Bohemia and Moravia, have long been available in print (ed. J. Kalousek and J. Kocí in Archiv Ceský xxix, and Sborník Matice Moravské , lxxix, respectively). The editors, M. Hochedlinger and A. Tantner, contribute a valuable introduction on the whole pioneering operation, lastingly famous as the occasion for house numeration throughout the region.
